    Dr. Oliver Payson Hubbard (M.D., L.L.D.):
    Born:  March 31, 1809.
    Death:  March 9, 1900.
    Parents:  Steven and Zeruiah Grosvenor Hubbard.
    Oliver Payson Hubbard graduated from Yale 1828 (MA), Dartmouth 1873 (MA), M.D. from South Carolina Medical College in 1861 and L.L.D. form Hamilton College in 1861. He was Professor of Chemistry, Minerology and Geology at Dartmouth for 30 years. He built the Shattuck Observatory (1853). Oliver was a member of the New Hampshire Legislature. Founder of the Association of American Geologists and Naturlists (1841).
