1923 Conn C Melody Saxophone (Silver Plated w/Case & Accessories)

Greetings.
Up for sale is this beautiful 1923 Conn C Melody saxophone. It is a silver plate model with the gold wash bell. It comes complete with the original case, and I believe the original mouthpiece, ligature, and possibly neckstrap. It also has the famous micro tuner neck these early Conns had. Structurally, this horn is solid. The only minor dent I could find is pictured; it looks like a little crinkle in the bell that got repaired at some point in time. Parts of the horn are nice and clean, and others need to be polished up, as pictured. The pads appear to be very old and in need of replacing, but it will play from top to bottom right out of the case. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound and playability of this horn. I did not have the right kind of reed to use the included mouthpiece, but I actually used a tenor sax mouthpiece setup and it blew like a champ, so you may have to go that route to play it.
