1924 Silver The Martin C Melody Saxophone for Restoration with MP S/N 40938

Description

The bell is engraved The Martin Reg. U.S. Pat. Office Elkhart, Ind.
The back is marked Martin Low Pitch 40938.
The sax is 24 1/2” long from the bow to the top not including the neck.
The bell is 4 3/4” in diameter.
The keys move freely and the pads are old.
One key has a weak spring.
There are a couple of minuscule dings on the left side of the bow.
The neck has a couple of minor dings and the cork is bad.
The C Melody mouthpiece is good.
It comes with a lyre, end plug and neck strap.
The case has some wear.
