Travel back in time with this
1950 Buescher Aristocrat baritone saxophone. It has a big B on the engraving. T
he bell engraving reads "Buescher Aristocrat/Elkhart, Ind./Made in U.S.A."
The
serial number stamped on the back of the body is 327,665, indicating it was made in 1950.
It is a total repair project.
It is very tarnished.
The pads are old. The keys all seem to work.
The very top tone hole and key have been dented and must be repaired. It looks like someone dropped it exactly upside down to create the dent.
There is
no neck, no mouthpiece, and no case.
Who wants to bring this All-American instrument back to musical life?
