    Description

Travel back in time with this old Conn alto saxophone. Made in Elkhart, Indiana.
The serial number stamped on the back bow is 554,794. It was made in 1955-1956.
Cosmetically, it looks pretty good, but not fabulous. It has some brass lacquer finish wear. It has some minor scratches and scrapes.
The neck cork is very worn and should be replaced. It is missing at least three pads. At least one other pad is in very poor condition. So, it is a repair project. That said, the springs and mechanisms all seem to work.
It comes in its Conn hard case. It comes with a cream-colored mouthpiece that is not a Brilhart. Comes with an old leather neck strap in poor condition.
Who wants to bring this fine old All-American instrument back to full musical life?
