This bari sax will only be shipped within the US 48 Contiguous States.
Up for auction is a 1957 Selmer Paris Mark VI Baritone Sax (Bari Sax) – NO RESERVE
Serial #71224 – 1957 production
Serial number is stamped on both the body and neck.
Used as is condition.
The pads are decent and it actually plays great top to bottom.
This sax was overhauled years ago so the original factory finish is gone.
The current finish is discolored and worn.
New owner should expect to do some pad and adjustment work.
The body is straight and all of the keywork is straight.
All keywork is functional.
Depending on what you want for appearance, there are some dents on the bottom bow and body that should be removed.
We have included a new neck receiver and support brace, cost on this is 5.
These parts should be changed out before using.
The back side cloth guard has the top corner broken off but it was filed smooth.
The bell is engraved but was buffed down when it was re-lacquered.
Includes a good used MTS plastic case with recessed wheels.
No mouthpiece.
