    Description

We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure an antique  and/or vintage musical instrument which is an alto saxophone. Under the bell opening on the outside it has engraved floral and leaf designs. Amongst them it is engraved KING Super 20 H. N. WHITE Co.  CLEVELAND O.. The saxophone comes with its original invoice dated 9-12 of 1975 with the selling price of this date of 5.00 ( NOTE: We do not know if this was the new price at this time or if the instrument was sold used at this date.). The invoice lists the Serial Number of what appears to be 318046. Right now some of the brass metal shows an aged metal patina. We found 2 or 3 little shallow indentations. Most all the keypads seemed free and moved. A couple were a little stiff. We made no attempt to try and play it. Therefore, due to its age we are listing and selling it “as is, as found” described and photoed condition. The instrument seems to be complete with the mouthpiece and the mouthpiece cover. The mouthpiece is marked Brilhart in writing then the word SPECIAL. Underneath that is the word Ebolin in writing. It has a name brand Selmer neck strap that holds the saxophone in place. The instrument comes with its original case which has a 1 1/2” by 2 3/16” brass label on the top of the lid that has a crown embossed. Then it has the name KING with the statement THE WORLDS FINEST. Below this THE H. N. WHITE CO.  CLEVELAND, OHIO.. This original case is in rough condition but the inside is very good. The main reason we put the case with the saxophone is because it is the original one that come with the instrument and has the brass KING label on the lid. Also, the case will protect the saxophone in shipping. From what we can tell the instrument and case have been in storage for a very long time. We aired the case out as best we could but, there is still a somewhat musty odor inside. We are listing the above described and photoed vintage collectible saxophone with the original receipt with case at a no reserve selling price. So, thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
