A Little About Me: I love antique lighting and strive to bring them back to the glory they deserve. They do not compare to the lighting sold in today's marketplace of cheaply made imports. All lights and chandelier's are thoroughly cleaned,rewired with U.L. approved wiring made for chandelier's and  comes with all mounting hardware for hanging.  When possible I offer the lights with the original finish but sadly most have been painted over. My technique in restoration process is like no other and all done by hand preserving the antique quality and textures of the lights.
Description: Very seldom seen is a beautiful antique cast iron ceiling light made by Markel.  Circa 1920's. The back of the light is marked M.E.P. which is the mark for Markel.  This makes a beautiful statement when you enter the room! The chandelier has beautiful designs of leaves going around the lights.  The body of the light has raised stars and the finial section is gorgeous. The chandelier has been completely restored and rewired and comes with all mounting hardware for hanging. The chandelier has a hang of 5 1/2" to the bottom of the bulbs (bulbs not included) and is 16" in diameter.  As typical of cast iron lights there are some straw marks from the molding and as pictured one of the berries  surrounding the lights is missing which also happened in the making of the chandelier.  All goes unnoticed when hung and only adds to the antique charm. I get many questions about the bulbs I use. The light bulbs are not included.  I came up with this idea as to not get a glare when taking pictures but the bulbs are beautiful.  I use 40 watt clear glass light bulbs purchased at any hardware store and mist them lightly with clear glass frosting found in the spray paint isle.
Shipping: I typically ship within 24 to 48 hours with Fedex after receiving payments.  I pack with quality packing materials and insure at my expense.
