BUESCHER OLIVER DITSON C-MELODY SAXOPHONE, 1922-1923, SERIAL # 115083, CASE

Description

This is a Buescher C-Melody saxophone made for Oliver Ditson. The serial # 115083 indicates it was made 1922-1923, which sounds about right.  The sax is in overall good condition, but no doubt will require an overhaul. Nicely engraved (see photos).  Appears to be original pads, which will need to go.  All the keys work, how well I do not know. The necks has dings (see photos).  Nothing major. Please take into consideration I have no way of testing as to how well it plays, or the work that may be required.  Original case is in good shape, except for the handle.  Should make a nice horn once restored.
