    Description

Buescher true tone, stencil, Tenor saxophone, 1920. This is a great horn! No dings, dents, resolders, or damage. Super condition, see pictures, 101 years old, amazing! All new pads, corks etc. by Golden era sax shop. Plays great from top to bottom. This horn was built by buescher for Jenkin's Music Co. in Kansas City, MO. They used their own brand of "Harwood" for their musical instruments of all kinds. You can google jenkins music co. for more info on their store, starting in the late 1800s. The neck is also in excellent condition, has a red mark on the cork from a felt tipped marker. This horn's serial # is 62815, puts it at 1920. From my research, the stencils ran in the same serial numbers as the branded bueschers. Low pitch, so same as modern horns. The case is pretty good for 101 years old! Does have a crack in the seam, upper right hand corner under the fabric. A little smell too, like an old closet. Comes with mouthpiece, ligiture, cork grease, and neck strap.
