    Description

Travel back in time with this
1925 C.G. Conn straight soprano saxophone.
Stamped on the back of the body is the serial no. M165826.  The serial no. 165826 is also stamped on the back of one of the key mechanisms. The front of the bell has "Made by C.G. Conn LTD., Elkhart, Ind., USA." engraved on it.
Cosmetically, it looks good. It's been played and much loved over the years. It does have some ordinary loving age and play wear. It has some high-quality floral engraving on the back of the bell.
    Gold wash bell.
It has all its pads. They're older, but still working. All the keys and mechanisms work. The neck cork is in good condition.
I suspect the mouthpiece and ligature are original. H. Bettoney mouthpiece cap.
It comes with the original Conn hard case. There is some black duct tape on the handle. The handle, latches, and hinges are all functional. The case comes with extra reeds and an old cleaning cloth.
It's a classic instrument, ready for its next owner.
