    Description

    Conn Pan American Soprano Saxophone.
    Early 1920's.
This soprano saxophone is in great shape for its age. At this time it is not in playing condition. It would need all new pads and corks to play. There are no signs of damage or dents in this soprano saxophone, the neck cork needs to be replaced. The neck is permanently attached as it was manufactured this way. These saxophones were very popular in the 1920s for jazz bands as well as Dixieland type music. It is hard to find a soprano saxophone this old in this condition. The Pan American brand is an offshoot of the Conn company. These were made in Elkhart Indiana by the Conn company but we're branded Pan-American so they could keep the price down. The quality is just as good as if it were a Conn branded saxophone. The mouthpiece and cap is original to the saxophone. This would be a great addition to a collector or to be put in playing condition. I am sure it would sound fantastic. THIS SAX IS NOT IN PLAYING CONDITION
