Early 1960s Martin Indiana Alto Saxophone With Mouthpiece & Case 83966.
I do not know a lot about vintage instruments. This is the only one I am selling. I’ve received insight this was produced between 1961 & 1964 most likely a 1961 model. I’ll just describe it the best I can.
- Brass is tarnished in a few places.
- I’m not sure how well kept this was, but the case is still in good condition. It was fairly dusty/dirty and I cleaned the outside of the case with water, dish soap, and paper towels.
- I did not attempt to clean the instrument. I know nothing about cleaning brass, especially tarnished brass.
- I did not attempt to play the instrument, since I have never played music.
- There are a few small dents on the bottom of the sax and one small one on the back. I have no idea how much this affects play. I’m more than happy to include pictures in a chat, but eBay only allows 12 pictures on the listing.
- The sax will be shipped inside the case with padding inside the case and obviously around the case.
