THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE THIS IS TO BORROW FROM A PERSONS AD , WHO SOLD ONE EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE FOR 100 BEST OFFER ACCECPTED.  SINCE IT WAS A SOLD ITEM I AM NOT COMPETING WITH THEM. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN MINE IS HAS A  " 2 " INSTEAD OF A " 1 " TIP. ALSO MINE LOOKS TO BE IN A BIT BETTER OVERALL SHAPE. SO MINE SHOULD BE MORE THAN .64 OPENING WHICH HIS WAY ( SEE BELOW )

>Holton called this the "Perfected" model. It is a hybrid mouthpiece made of bakelite surrounding a metal core. These were designed to be extremely durable, and resistant to warping. In fact, the original print advertisements for this mouthpiece from 1924 contains some pretty bold statements, such as "as enduring as the pyramids" used to describe this model! They also claim that it can be thrown across the room without breaking, but notably they suggest not doing so!
This mouthpiece is quite typical of pre-WWII era design. The tip opening is quite close, measuring in at .065". It has deeply scooped inner side walls, and a large round chamber.<
BAKELITE MEANS:
