    Description

KGBS, KFOX and KBBQ were the legendary AM Country stations for Los Angeles back in the mid 60's. KGBS was a daytime-only station that had to sign-off the air at sunset each day. This 1020 KGBS Town & Country Giant 1020 Survey Of Songs is from 6-4-66. At the bottom is a listing of the KGBS DJs; Joe Nixon, Bob Kingsley, John Fritz & Bill Thompson. #1 song was Don't Touch Me - Jeanne Seely. Slipping to #2, Swinging Doors - Merle Haggard. Up to #3 from #5, Talking To The Wall - Warner Mack. Jammed up at #4, Take Good Care Of Her - Sonny James. INching up to #5 from #6, Yes I'm Hurting - Don Gibson. Dropping to #6 from #3, I'm Not Crazy Yet - Ray Price. Jammed up at #7, Why Should I Cry Over You - Freddie Hart. Stuck at #8, Molly Brown - Skeets McDonald. Jammed up at #9, Don't Buy My Daddy No More Wine - Greenwood Singers. Jumping to #11 from #15, Think Of Me - Buck Owens. Survey is in good condition; has some small stains at the bottom; measures 8-1/2 x 5-1/2.
