Irish Green CECILIO Alto Sax in Great Condition w/First Act Gig Bag. Serial #H14060516.
Who would want a green and gold sax? Well, me laddies, there are many musically inclined Leprechauns out there that just might give up a little gold for it! (And that's asking alot from a Leprechaun.) This sax has hardly been used and plays great from top to bottom with a full, solid tone on the included vintage, standard white mouthpiece. Pads, felts, corking, and springs are in from very good to great shape. Cosmetically, I found only one pin-sized ding on the neck and a little wear on the bottom bow guard. There are no dents, scuffing, or scratches - a real "Bonnibel" (oops, that's Scottish). Green accents were added to the key guards and octave key. Shamrock decals were also added for that St. Patty's feel. All can be removed if you desire. The case is a sturdy First Act gig bag that was initially manufactured for Borg alto saxophones and later First Act altos. It's one of the best gig bags that I have found on the market. Both the interior and exterior are tough and the zippers last (too bad it doesn't also come in green). This horn comes with the First Act case/gig bag, a new microfiber polishing cloth, a neckstrap, and the vintage standard white mouthpiece w/new ligature, gold vintage cap, and new Rico Plasticover reed.
