Used during Mowing & String Trimming
Just received these to replace one I had purchased locally. I use them during Mowing and String Trimming over my hat to keep the bugs out of my face, and to shield me from stuff the string trimmer tosses up (yes I wear safety glasses). As the summer progresses the bugs get bigger and more aggressive. I even put this on during Poop Scooping. These are a little longer and have a draw tie versus the previous one I had which had an elastic band that dried out and broke so they may last longer.
It works!
This has been a grate addition to my yard work. it is very helpful on windy days while mowing our acreage. it was light and cool but kept all the wind blown cuttings and bugs from blowing in to my face and hair.
Great bug netting at a great price
Now, right off the bat, you likely will want to wear a hat with this, otherwise the netting tends to slip off easily, but a baseball cap or anything works great to have the right friction. Then just drape these over, bugs do not get in and they're sheer enough to see perfectly fine (and they don't look like beekeeper hats like a lot of these do, lol). Pull strap to close neck area, easily stored. I prefer these to earlier types we had which had their own built-in "hat" loops, because it makes them so much easier to store, including in your pocket! Highly recommend these

Works perfectly for keeping black flies away. My family and friends used to make fun of me for wearing one over a flopping hat. They had deer fly strips on their hats and Deet spray. When the fly population increased they started wearing these nets too, so I had to buy more.
It took some time to resist the reflex to swat flies near me. Sometimes the flies land on the netting. As long as you're wearing a good-brimmed hat under the net, you're fine.
Great protection from insects
Yikes! Trying to garden with bugs flying in your face, ears, neck, wherever is not fun! These help keep them at bay although an occasional bug finds a way in if you don't have the protector tight enough! It doesn't block your vision either.

Really a great head net. I like the feature of being able to close the bottom around your neck, that helps keep the gnats out. The net is also very light so you do not get too hot inside the mesh.
