late Ottoman Empire period, an Islamic Komboloi
or Rosary of 33+2 pcs of 100% genuine natural
Baltic Amber Prayer Beads.
The butterscotch egg-yolk, veined non-
transparent, barrel shaped, lustrous amber beads,
have a natural age patina and gorgeous color.
The Komboloi consists of 3 x 11 beads plus 2 beads
Imam and a solid silver tassel.
A fresh estate found comes from a prayer beads
collection of a Greek man born in Ayvalik of
Turkey, untouched original example, beautiful in
all respects this is a highly desirable and very rare
Komboloi Rosary which makes it a true collection
item.
