Description
Pair of Restored 1930's-1950's Art Deco/MCM, White Porcelain Sconces by J.I. PauldingThese art deco, white porcelain sconces were manufactured by J.I. Paulding in New Bedford, Mass. during the 1930's to early 1950's. They are in very good condition and are ready to install.
We have carefully cleaned each of the sconces and removed the dirt and the old overpaint from the sides. We
disassembled
, cleaned, polished and lubed the pull chain switches and added new nickel plated chains. This pair even has the original porcelain pull knobs, a bonus since one or both of these are often missing. We also added new mounting hardware (nickel plated nuts, threaded nipples, crossbars). Everything has been tested and is guaranteed to work correctly.
We also rewired the polarized outlets at the base of each fixture, but since these are not the modern 3-prong, grounded outlets, we will leave it up the buyer and his/her electrician to decide whether to hook them up.
Dimensions: 7" high to end of pull chain knob, 3-7/8" wide, project 3-1/2" from the wall. They use standard base bulbs (not included).
At the time of this listing we have at least one more pair of these sconces in another listing which you can see in our
