Vintage 1963 H A SELMER Bundy Tenor Sax (Serial # 402851) in Good Condition w/Extra Copper Power Neck.
This is a great playing horn with a sound that has a rich, solid vintage tone. Frankly, I'm finding this tenor a hard one to let go of. It's been cleaned and adjusted. Pads, felts, and corking have been replaced where needed and the spring action is very good. The original neck was damaged (see pic #11) when I got the sax, and I noticed that the intonation was a little off. I happened to have I very nice replacement that fit and played better, intonationally, than the original neck (looks great too!) - so I'm including both. Cosmetically, there are no major dents; just some dings, mild scratches, and scuffs. The lacquer seems to be there but with a nice patina. Also, the bell lip has a little crease and a ding. Included with this tenor are a microfiber polishing cloth, a new neckstrap, the extra copper "Power Neck", a new black plastic octave key protector cap, and the "Bundy" mouthpiece w/ligature & vintage "France" cap.
