Vintage 1916 C.G. Conn New Wonder Alto Saxophone Brass w/ Hard Case #392

To start off, I don’t play saxophone, so I took this to a music store so they could examine it and test it to ensure its functionality. They stated that it plays good, but it does have some minor pad wear which is typical. Nothing that needs addressed soon. It has the Eb trill mod which is a positive modification. The neck cork is worn but works ok at the moment. There’s a neck modification which they state was some kind of support removed to either fix dents or to try to make the neck more resonant. Other than that, it has signs of use and aging which is common in a saxophone this old. Overall it plays well and also included is a nice hard case in decent shape. The mouthpiece isn’t included and it’s recommended to buy a new mouthpiece when buying a used instrument. This is being sold as is to the description above.
