    Description

1926 Buescher True Tone Low Pitch Alto Saxophone in original Matte Silver finish
Check out the pictures, this horn is in awesome shape!  Compare to any other Buescher TT on Ebay.
These horns have an awesome tone and this one is about as clean as you will find anywhere.
All the pads and corks are good, keys aligned so it plays great.
It comes in an SKB Contour case that was pretty colorful when I got it.  I put a couple coats of black paint
on it so it looks pretty good.  The case, hinges and latches are all in good shape.
Included are HW Products Pad Savers for the neck and body, Key Leaves and pouch for storing the neck in the bell.
So what's the deal with old horns labeled "Low Pitch"?
Back in the early part of the 20th Century they hadn't yet established a standard.
The current standard is an "A" is 440 Hz.  Before that some horns were made
tuned to 442 or 456 Hz, so they would play out of tune if you play with other people.
If you are buying a 1920's or earlier horn you want to look for an "L" on the bottom
of the horn near the serial number or "low pitch" in the description.
This is a great old horn that sounds great and is a blast to play.  I just have too many saxes.
