Vintage 1930's KEEFER Alto Sax w/Protec Gig Bag. Serial #6940 (Matching Serial Number on the Neck).
This cool looking sax has been cleaned up and adjusted. It has a smooth jazzy tone with the included standard mouthpiece. Pads and springs are in good shape, and the felts and corking have been replaced where needed. Check out the extra key just below the right pinky keys. The right palm keys, left and right pinky keys, and the bell to bow bands look similar to a vintage Martin Indiana.

Ebayer Badenia51 has just verified that this is a Martin Indiana stencil circa 1930's (Thanks Kevin!). The beveled tone holes gave it away. Cosmetically, it has a beautiful look and feel with no major dents, just some small dings and one medium ding on the bow (see pics #7 & #8), and a compressed key guard foot below the serial number. This vintage alto comes with the Protec gig bag, the original red octave key protector cap, a new microfiber polishing cloth, a Yamaha Aircell neckstrap, and the standard mouthpiece w/ligature, cap, and new Rico Plasticover reed.
