Vintage CONN Shooting Stars (Director) Alto Sax in Very Good Condition. Serial #N121807.
Nope, this is NOT a Mexiconn; it's a rare, beautiful 1970 Conn Director alto. Hard to find one in this kind of shape. Pads, felts, and corking have been replaced where needed and the springs respond great. The horn plays very good and has a very nice, rounded tone with the included Yamaha 4C mouthpiece. Cosmetically, there are no dents or dings, just some scratches (notably: key guards and back of the bell), mild scuffing, and a little lacquer wear. Included are the original case, a microfiber polishing cloth, white pearl accents on the key guards, a black neckstrap, Conn cork grease, a set of black left palm key risers, a black plastic octave key protector cap, and the Yamaha 4C mouthpiece w/USA gold ligature, black cap, and new Rico Plasticover reed.
