    Description

This vintage Buescher alto saxophone was made in 1914 according to its serial number (#250XX). It's low pitch. It is structurally in good condition, with no dents or signs of significant previous damage or repair, although it's missing its fork Eb guard (see pictures). The soldered-on tone holes have an interesting design. The lacquer shows wear, but all the keys move freely and we see no signs of any mechanical problems with this instrument. The pads and corks are old and we would recommend that this saxophone be repadded to be in good playing condition.
The case is original to the instrument and is generally in good condition, although it does show exterior and interior wear consistent with age. The handle, latches and hinges all work as they should.
    All reasonable offers considered.
