Vintage C G CONN LTD New Wonder Series Alto Saxophone 1917 w/ SKB Case #373

To start off, I took this saxophone to a music store to be examined and tested. I don’t play saxophone so they pointed out the condition of this item. They stated that it plays fairly well and it’s in good shape for its age. The pads have minor wear/use, the neck cork has moderate wear but still works good, and the only other thing they mentioned was the neck tenon is slightly loose. Overall it’s a really nice vintage alto sax for the price. They also made sure to point out that there’s a coin that was welded on the side of the saxophone and that that’s actually normal and was done to repair the saxophone. This has wear and use typical of a 100+ year old instrument but works well. Also included is a nice SKB case, which has some scuffs but this doesn’t affect anything. What’s in the pictures is included. Mouthpiece not included. I don’t know the history of this item so I don’t know what was done to it besides what the music store has told me.
