Vintage Crown Devon Fielding's Musical Tankard No. 804873 Auld Lang Syne England Pre-owned
Vintage pottery tankard produced by the quality English makers, Crown Devon. Tankard features a hand painted raised design depicting a couple of chaps sitting in a bar. The bar maid is serving the jolly fellows another round as they joke by the fireplace. The reverse side has an inscription of three verses of Auld Lang Syne. A graphic of linked hands appears below the title of the song, and the entire inscription is en-wreathed by a garland of flowers. The traditional design appears on a pale lemon yellow background. The large handle of the jug is formed out of thistles, which spill over onto the tankard. This tankard has a musical piece which plays the Auld Lang Syne song. Tested fully functional. Approx 5 7/8" tall, 3 3/4" dia top, 4 1/4" dia base and 5 7/8" wide w/handle. Weighs approx 1lb 14oz.
