Vintage Danny Mc Fadden (Vicenza) Alto Sax in Good Condition w/Sturdy Case

Vintage DANNY MC FADDEN Alto Sax in Good Condition. Serial #2607.
This is a very interesting vintage alto that has been cleaned and adjusted. The sax plays good from top to bottom with a pleasant, clear tone on the included standard mouthpiece. Pads, felts, and corking have been replaced where needed and the springs have quick response. The closest my research could find is that it is possibly a Malerne stencil (bell to body brace). This alto does not sport the high F key and therefore should date it in the 20's or 30's and the key guards are different from any that I have seen. There is an interesting engraved logo above the serial number - LD surrounded by a partial triangle (pic #9). If anyone out there has more info on this sax, please let me know. Cosmetically, there are no dents and the keys look great. However, there are a few minor dimples on the bow, and the right thumb rest is mildly compressed (pic #2). There's also plenty of lacquer wear, scuffs, and scratches as you can see in the pictures. The bottom back key guard has also been replaced (pic #7). Nothing to interfere with playing performance. There is also engraved "G. Jacolino" at the bottom of the bell. I googled the name and found a Jacolino, Guiseppi, Sr. running a piano restaurant in Vicenza, Italy. Unfortunately, they only take reviews - no emails (bet the cheesecake is good!). This special horn comes with a sturdy vintage case, a microfiber polishing cloth, a neckstrap, a pad saver, and the standard mouthpiece w/ligature, cap, and new Rico Plasticover reed.
