This is an older vintage Vito tenor saxophone in gold lacquer, serial number 16964. If you are looking to get into a quality vintage tenor sax while keeping the price point under 2,000 these horns can be a great way to go. This one shows some history of quite a bit of past play time but is in solid condition over all. It looks like the last owner played it often as well as making a few at home repairs to it over time.
The body does show history of past dent and solder work. Some dings still remain. As it currently sits it is playing through leaks all the way down to the bell keys. But it will need a complete overhaul before it is ready for any serious playing. All done up this would be a fantastic gigging horn for the player on a budget or as a back up. We would love to do this one up in our shop but with the current wait time over 2 months we are letting some of our inventory go in as is condition for a lower price.
