Deceptively plain-looking heavy lamps are made of solid brass with 5-sided bases, undulating columns and surfaces that have aged to a beautiful bronze finish.  They are in excellent structural condition and I see very little surface wear.  These will complement just about any period decor and support massively heavy shades, if called upon.  Sockets and wire appear consistent with age and
are still in good condition.  The push-switches click with confidence and the lamps are in good working order.  They are featured with a pair of art glass shades to provide buyers information and inspiration.  The shades are available separately for purchase - just ask for a new listing or request their inclusion with this listing's lamp bases.
I have given the lamps a cursory cleaning and leave the rest to the buyer's discretion.

I made the art glass shades in 2019 at my glass blowing studio.  I acquired this set of fixtures with a handsome hoard of lamps and period parts from established antiquities dealers over the years for my lighting business. I am saddened by their departure but also delighted they may be lovingly received and put to good service by new caretakers.  This listing is for a genuine artifact of a bygone era that will be a pleasure to welcome into a new home.
